Our DeVore family "Staycation"

Grandma traded her beach time share in for one a little closer to home that way all of us could enjoy it on the weekend and week nights when we can to go out and go swimming, it was a nice 30-40 minute drive from home so just far enough away to get away from work and life an trust relax.

After some dinner and relaxing we decided to go to Old town for the car show and some ice cream Ethan was in heaven he loves cars and really liked the "Mater" tow truck

After walking around in the heat decided to take a break and have some ice cream, Alyssa and Daddy at the A&W ice cream shop

Kyle and his sister Kari, well family is family gotta love them. Each are special in their own way!

After all that nothing could be better then a jacuzzi tube with 4 cute...dirty kids

Some day poor Ethan will hopefully have a boy cousin so far ratio is 5:1...poor guy!

After the bath Kyle tried to get all the kids to lay down and relax with some cartoons before bed...nice try though

I am always behind the camera, but Susie was snapping pictures, so thought I would post one with me finally.Ethan/Aqua man hanging out by the pool watching Grandma and the kids having a good time

The girls took a break and hung out in the kid pool, they had so much fun.

After the pool we quickly got cleaned up and went to get the kids face painted, here they are waiting.

The girls did not want to get their faces painted so Grandma got a heart and everyone else followed.

Alyssa of course go the princess painting on her face, and showing off their hands too

Aunt Kari took the girls outside to do a puzzle for some quiet time while Ethan took his nap.

And of course Grandpa was very helpful in helping Ethan take his nap, well what fun is napping alone.
