Kyle Graduates!!!!

I am so proud of Kyle!!! After 4 years he finally graduated! It was hard on all of us, the kids missed Daddy on the nights he had classes and I could have really used his help with the kids and the house. I wanted to show Kyle how proud of him I was so I throw him a pool/bbq party with friends and family.

The graduate!!!! Had to sneak a picture with him...
Everyone chatting and enjoying the food, trying to relax and beat the heat

My girls!!! So glad they came down from GA. Andrea and Becky!!!!

Billy, Doug, TJ and Scott having "man talk", glad everyone was having a good time.

All the kids were having water ice and it was a good way to get the kids out of the pool for a rest

Pool time!!! We all had to take the dip to try and cool down, man it was a hot day.

Steven took a minute to relax and reflect on the day...well that's my version and it sounds good!

Alyssa turns 7 years old!

Alyssa turned 7 years old today!! We went to Ormond beach for the weekend, since we always go to the beach as a family and when we asked Alyssa what she wanted to do..of course she said the beach. (Pictures to come). I can not believe how much time has passed, I remember the days when Kyle and I would talk about when she would walk...then she walked and we could not wait for her to go to school and then she did....then we talked about what sports she would play...then she did dance, not her thing....then she played soccer, she is still undecided if she likes it or not....and now we talk about how fast she has grown up.

Alyssa is the sunshine to my day, she is funny, loving and just adores her brother. She loves butterflies, flowers and the out doors period. Alyssa is very strong willed and she will tell you what is on her mind, but at the same time she is sensitive and will try and cheer you up if you are having a bad day. Alyssa made me a "Mom", she is my first born....sometimes I think I wish I had done this or that, but I see her now and I think I got it right.

Alyssa is my baby girl, I remember the first time I saw her face and all I could say was "How can I love her so much and I don't even know her" (lol) sounds funny to say it now, and Kyle still gives me a hard time, but it's true. I loved her the minute I saw her and knew my life would never be the same!

"I love you Alyssa more then the tongue can say"......

Happy Mommy's Day

I think sometimes we get so caught up in our day to day routines that I forget how LUCKY I am, I have two of the greatest kids and though I know that even though I try to be the best Mom I can be I fall short sometimes, but everyday is a new day and I know I love them both more then anything.

Leu Gardens were letting Mom's in for free so I thought the kids and I would go and check it out. We had so much fun walking around, Alyssa loved pointing out the names of the plants and trees to Ethan.

I tried to get a cute picture of them...I tried I said

It was a hot day to say the least so we spent a little time hanging out on the porch swing

Well we had a great day and the kids really had fun. I love them so much and I could not ever imagine my life without them.
Alyssa and Ethan I love you more then the tongue can say!
